Suicide Prevention

Trina's suicide is Tristan's gaping wound in A Little Night Music, but her loss also has a ripple affect on the whole band throughout the In Perfect Harmony series. All the characters are still grappling with Trina's loss because, as fiction sometimes mirrors real life, it affects so many.

When I wrote this story, suicide was a serious issue, but now, since the pandemic, it has reached epidemic proportions.

But there is help for you or someone you know who is struggling.

While Trina's Place is fictional, The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline is very real and the number  is 800-273-8255 or go HERE

So is To Write Love On Her Arms. Their mission says:  a non-profit movement dedicated to presenting hope and finding help for people struggling with depression, addiction, self-injury, and suicide. TWLOHA exists to encourage, inform, inspire, and also to invest directly into treatment and recovery.
