Trina's suicide is Tristan's gaping wound in A Little Night Music, but her loss also has a ripple affect on the whole band throughout the In Perfect Harmony series. All the characters are still grappling with Trina's loss because, as fiction sometimes mirrors real life, it affects so many.

When I wrote this story, suicide was a serious issue, but now, since the pandemic, it has reached epidemic proportions.
